Three killed after lorry carrying onions falls into 30 ft depth in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: Three people were killed after a lorry overturned and fell into a 30 feet depth in Malappuram. The three have not been identified. The lorry that met with the accident was going to Chalakudy with onions from Kozhikode.

The incident happened Friday morning at 7.20 am. As soon as the accident happened, the locals rushed to the spot and engaged in rescue operations. The bodies of the three have been shifted to Valancherry Hospital. The lorry lost control and fell at 30 feet depth at Vattapara turning, which is a regular accident spot.

The people trapped in the cabin of the lorry lost their lives. The cabin was lifted after a long time.
