Summer rains likely in these districts on Friday, hailstorm in Vattavada

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that there is a possibility of isolated rains with thunder in the state. Rainfall is more likely in central and southern Kerala, especially in the hilly areas. The IMD also said that there is a possibility of light rain in various districts. Except for Kannur and Kasaragod, the districts will receive light rain today and tomorrow. Last day, there was a hailstorm in Swamiyaralakkudi village of Idukki during the summer rains.

Rain is likely in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur and Palakkad districts on March 19 and Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts on March 20. Isolated rain is also possible in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam and Idukki districts on March 21.
