Opposition strengthens protest against Sabha TV; V D Satheeshan slams bias

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition has given two complaints to the speaker regarding the biased telecasting shown by Sabha TV. Last day, four opposition MLAs resigned from the high power committee of the Sabha TV.

Opposition leader V D Satheeshan blasted out against the bias shown in telecasting. The opposition protest inside the assembly was censored by the TV after which the protest and complaints poured in. The opposition leader told that it is shameful conduct from the officials since the TV runs also with the opposition money. He later told about releasing the video if the Sabha TV fails to abide.

The congress won't attend the council meeting scheduled for Monday and the members called the style and conduct of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan akin to an authoritarian.
