Youth kills nursing student by slitting throat, police suspects love failure

CHENNAI: A man killed a nursing student by slitting her throat. The incident took place in Villupuram in Tamil Nadu. Dharani, a native of Radhapuram, is the deceased. A youth named Ganesh, a native of Madurapakkam, came to Dharani's house and slit her throat with a knife.

Hearing the screams, the family members and neighbors immediately rushed, but Dharani was mortally wounded and died on spot. Ganesh, who escaped after the murder, was nabbed by a special investigation team from Madurapakkam. The police concluded that the reason for the murder was revenge as the girl ended their relationship last year.
