Major theft at Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s house in Chennai

CHENNAI: Aishwarya Rajinikanth, director and daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, has filed a complaint with the police that her gold ornaments worth lakhs have gone missing from the locker in her house in Chennai. Her complaint said the missing ornaments include diamond sets, uncut diamonds, antique gold and bangles. She has named three of her domestic helps in the complaint. The Teynampet police have started a probe.


Her complaint said nearly 60 sovereigns are missing. The ornaments were in the locker after using them at her sister Soundarya’s wedding in 2019. The locker was shifted to three places since the wedding. The keys of the locker were kept in the almirah of her bedroom. The maids knew about it. When she opened her locker on February 10, found the ornaments missing. Her complaint said the ornaments were bought at the time of her marriage 18 years ago.
