6.6 magnitude quake jolts Delhi, nearby states

NEW DELHI: A massive earthquake was felt in Delhi NCR on Tuesday night. The 6.6 magnitude earthquake lasted for several seconds. Apart from Delhi, the earthquake was also reported in the states of Haryana, UP, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Apart from the northern states in India, the earthquake was also reported in the countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The epicentre of the earthquake is the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan. It is reported that the tremors of the earthquake that occurred here were felt in Delhi. Earthquakes of low intensity have been reported in Delhi in recent months. However, the official announcement says there is no cause for concern.
