‘I told Mammootty that ‘Aaraattu’ didn’t work and is getting trolled, this was his reply’, says B Unnikrishnan

'Aaraattu’ is a film directed by B Unnikrishnan starring Mohanlal. Mohanlal played the role of Neyyatinkara Gopan in the film. The movie didn’t have a good reception from the fans. It was trolled on social media as well.

B Unnikrishnan has revealed how megastar Mammootty reacted when he told him about the reception of ‘Aaraattu’ and about the trolls. He said this during the discussion related to film 'Christopher'.

“The script of ‘Christopher’ is interesting. We can do that.”, replied Mammootty. “I didn't know how long the Covid situation would last. And it was the time when Mammooka was going to shoot ‘Bheeshmaparvam’. I met him after the release of ‘Aaraattu’. I said that the film didn’t work and is being trolled a lot and can postpone ‘Christopher’ if we want. He replied there is no need for that and it happens while making a film.”, said B Unnikrishnan to a media.
