In one month, assaulted countless times; Uncle and nephew arrested for taking minor girl to Bangalore

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A teenager and his uncle were arrested in a sexual assault case of a 17-year-old girl. Tamil Nadu Colachel native Jivimon and his uncle Gerald were arrested. On February 20th at dawn, Jivimon took the Valiyamala native girl from her house and eloped to Bangalore.

The family of the girl reported a missing case at the police station nearby. After a long search that took nearly a month, Jivinmon was tracked from Bangalore by the forces. The medical test conducted on the girl revealed repeated copulation between the two. On further questioning, the culprit opened up about his uncle's role in providing financial help to elope. The police then arrested his uncle from Colachel.
