CCTV visuals of Pattur sexual assault case obtained; culprit still on loose

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CCTV visuals of the assailant who tried assaulting a lady scooter rider near Pattur have been obtained. Albeit the vital visuals, the images are blurry and the vehicle and number plate are seen in a haze. It was March 13th when the lady was attacked from behind by the assailant. She was riding in her vehicle when sensed someone following her from behind. The man blocked her and tried fondling her forcibly. The resistance from the victim resulted in an attack as the man grabbed her head and banged it into the nearby walls. The victim made loud cries but received no help even from security personnel who was witnessing the scene. Later she gained the nerve to hurl a stone at his head which made the assailant flee.

Accusations were also handy about the police inaction even after complaining late at night. The lady after careful thought has decided to leave the capital city for Delhi to be with her daughter.
