60-year-old woman who came to file a complaint waited for 12 hours; alleged that police did not take statement despite being directed by court

PALAKKAD: Alligation that police did not consider the 60-year-old woman who came to file a complaint. Rukmini, a native of Mannarkkad, who came to complain about the violence that broke into her house, had a bad experience from the local police. It is alleged that she had to wait for 12 hours at the police station.

Police was not ready to accept the complaint or record the statement till 6 in the evening from Rukmini, who reached the station at 6 in the morning. Rukmini informs that there was no response from the police officials even after the Mannarkkad court directed them to take a statement.
