Rahul writes new Twitter bio; 'Dis'Qualified MP' now trends

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a timely change to his Twitter bio in wake of his dismissal from Lok Sabha. The bio now reads "Dis'Qualified MP" in place of the earlier “member of parliament”.The Congress leader was earlier convicted by Surat Court for his dubious rhetoric which was laced with casteist remarks he made in Kolar in 2019. The Congress party is meanwhile weaving new plans of protest to fight their leaders oust.

The party will move to sessions court with an appeal to rescind the Surat court decision. On another note, protests with widespread violence took over many cities in India, notably in Rahul’s own constituency of Wayanad. The Congress leaders also met together in Rajghat today and did a satyagraha to resuscitate their indomitable Gandhian values.
