THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The foreign delegates who reached Kumarakom in Kerala for G20 can't stop praising the tourism scopes of the scenic backwaters. The Sherpa meeting under the direction of Indian representative Amitabh Kant took place in KTDC waterscapes. More than 120 members from different countries participated in the meeting held.
The backwaters' visit, dance, martial arts forms, and other cultural programs inimitable of Kerala instilled amazement in many delegates. On the last day of the summit, Onam was recreated just to make the visitors see and understand the diverse and unique festival formats that Indians revel in.
Minister Muhammed Riyas said the elite facilities provided near the Vembanad lake met success with all foreign delegates talking highly about the service and comfort the place provides.
