murder

CHENNAI: A witch who sexually allegedly assaulted a woman was brutally murdered by her lover and friends. The deceased has been identified as Sasikumar of Kalavarapally in Hosur. Sasikumar was hit on his head with a rock after chopping off his gentials. Dinesh and Gunalan, the persons accused of the crime, have surrendered in the Bennagaram court.

Dinesh approached Sasikumar, who performs witchcraft, to perform a pooja to remove the obstacles to marrying his lover. Sasikumar is a friend of Dinesh's father. Two weeks ago, Dinesh came to Sasikumar's house with his lover for a puja. When the puja started, Sasikumar asked Dinesh to stay outside, after which Sasikumar sexually abused the woman. After a while, the girl came down crying and told Dinesh about her ordeal. Then Dinesh and his friends decided to kill Sasikumar.

Last Wednesday, Dinesh brought Sasikumar to the Bennagaram forest area by making him believe that he wanted to do witchcraft for another friend. There, Dinesh and his friends killed Sasikumar after giving him alcohol to make him unconscious. Sasikumar's wife Sujatha filed a complaint with the police stating that her husband has gone missing and police launched a search. His body was later found during the investigation. The complaint stated that Dinesh had called Sasikumar. The accused surrendered at the court this morning while the police were searching for them. The police informed that one more person will be arrested in the case
