Sounds strange, Lal knows Sreenivasan very well; Priyadarshan on Mohanlal not responding

The video and picture of Mohanlal kissing Sreenivasan during a channel programme months ago had gone viral on social media. When asked about this in an interview, Sreenivasan said that he understood that ‘Mohanlal is a compete actor’ with that incident. Sreenivasan also said that he had exposed Lal's hypocrisy many times. These words of Sreenivasan had stoked a controversy.

Director Priyadarshan has now responded on this incident in an interview. He said that Sreenivasan may have spoken like that due to his ill health and is not right to talk about it without knowing the reason behind the incident.

‘Mohanlal and Sreenivasan are my friends. There is a dialogue in my new film 'Corona Peppers' that forgetting is human quality and forgiving is divine. I think humans should do that. He may have said because of his ill health. I had spoken about it to Sathyan Anthikkad. Don't know why Sreeni said that. Sounds strange. Mohanlal had not responded on this issue and that's the good part about it. Lal must have thought that Sreenivasan may have felt like that. Mohanlal knows Sreenivasan,’ said Priyadarshan.
