Center's political agenda behind Vande Bharat as alternative to Silver Line, no safety for train journey: DYFI

KOZHIKODE: The DYFI came to the fore reacting to the arrival of Vande Bharat Express to Kerala. DYFI state secretary V K Sanoj said behind the sudden arrival of the Vande Bharat is center’s pseudo politics. ‘By bringing this train as an alternative to Silver Line, they are trying to establish that there is no need to discuss such development matters and there is clear politics in establishing that,’ opined Sanoj.

The train that Kerala deserves to get is being presented as a big incident. V K Sanoj said behind the sudden arrival of the train is the politics formed out of hostility towards Kerala. DYFI state secretary V K Sanoj and President V Vasif opined that the situation is such that the Center is not doing anything for the safety of the passengers.

The BJP accorded a grand reception to the Vande Bharat Express that reached Palakkad and Thrissur from Chennai. BJP leader and Indian Railway Passengers Amenities committee chairman P K Krishnadas received the loco pilot at Palakkad Junction. The rakes will reach Kochuveli by evening.
