Timing, schedule, ticket price and other details of Vande Bharat Express out, 25 selected people to travel with Modi on maiden journey

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The timing, schedule, ticket price and other details of Vande Bharat Express on Kerala route has been released. It will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 5.10 am and reach Kannur at 12.30 pm. It will return from Kannur at 2 pm and reach Thiruvananthapuram by 9.20 pm.

A decision has been taken on the fare of Vande Bharat Express. The fare for the economy coach to Kannur is Rs 1400 including food. Vande Bharat will have 12 economy coaches with 78 seats each. There will also be two executive coaches with 54 seats each. The ticket price in executive coach is Rs 2400 including food. There will be two more coaches with 44 seats each in the front and back.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train in Kerala on April 25. There will be 25 selected passengers on the first trip. The Prime Minister will interact with the passengers during the inauguration. Booking facility will start for the passengers after April 25.

The first trial run of Vande Bharat was completed yesterday. Vande Bharat completed the trial run from Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur in 7.10 hours. The distance between Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur is 501 km.
