Actress Nikhila Vimal's open statement that Muslim women in Kannur still dine only in the kitchen at wedding houses was a topic of discussion on social media. Actor and lawyer Shukoor has now responded to the statement.

He asks if this discrimination isn't against Muslim women only. Advocate Shukoor also wrote on Facebook that non-Muslim women can gain access to marriages through the main entrance itself.
