Temple priest arrested for flashing at boys who had come to learn puja

CHERUTHONI: A temple priest has been arrested for showing obscene videos and flashing boys who came to learn temple rituals. Idukki Mattukatta native Sajan is the accused.

The incident related to the case took place within Idukki police station limits on April 9. Sajan, who came to the temple as a priest two weeks ago, was booked for inciting minor boys who had come to study pujas, for unnatural acts.

Relatives of the boys said that Sajan showed the children obscene videos on mobile phones and flashed them. The boys who were shocked by Sajan's behaviour went to their homes and informed their relatives. Then they filed a complaint with the police. The accused was produced in court and remanded.
