Man arrested for sexually harassing woman on public road

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Peroorkada police have arrested a man who attempted to sexually assault a woman on a public road while she was returning after buying goods from the Margin Free supermarket. The arrested person is Vattappara Nedumon native Manesh (35). The woman was attacked on April 2 while she was returning after buying goods from the Margin Free supermarket near Thavalam Hotel in Peroorkada. The accused was nabbed following an investigation conducted with the help of CCTV footage. The accused was arrested and remanded.
