NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court will hear the SNC Lavalin case on Monday. The bench comprising of Justice M R Shah and C T Ravikumar will hear the petition. The case was last listed last November but the Supreme Court did not consider the case then. Lavalin case is being considered as the 21st case in Court No. 4 on Monday.
The CBI approached the Supreme Court on December, 2017 against the exclusion of Pinarayi Vijayan, former energy secretary K Mohanachandran and joint secretary A Francis from the chargesheet. The Supreme Court sent a notice on January 11, 2018 in the case. Later, the case was adjourned 33 times in five years. The court gave instructions not to adjourn the case further as TP Nandakumar’s lawyer MK Aswathy pointed out that the petition hearing is being postponed constantly.
