NEW DELHI: Justice SV Bhatti has been appointed as the acting Chief Justice of Kerala High court. His appointment was approved by the President. The Supreme court collegium recommended SV Bhatti as Kerala High court Chief Justice but he was appointed as acting Chief Justice.
Justice SV Bhatti hails from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. He has been serving as a judge of the Kerala High Court since 2019. The current Chief Justice Manikumar will retire on April 24.
