LUCKNOW: The Kerala Police have arrested a UP native who absconded after sexually abusing a Malayali woman on the pretext of marriage. The Kerala Police arrested the youth named Nadeem Khan with the help of UP police on Sunday. He was arrested from Partapur Jeevan Sahay.
The police arrested Nadeem Khan on the complaint lodged by the Malayali woman, who used to work in Dubai, with the Irikkur police. Nadeem Khan was the driver of the bus in which the woman was working as a conductor. They both became close during work. Later, he repeatedly had sex with the young woman after promising to marry her. However, he started avoiding her when she started talking about their marriage.
Nadeem Khan then left Dubai and returned home when the woman asked him to marry her. Following this, the woman returned to Kerala and lodged a sexual assault complaint against the accused. The three-member team led by Irikkur inspector Sathyanath KV went to Uttar Pradesh and arrested the accused.
