THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: While the newly introduced Vande Bharat soared through the green lushes of Kerala, Aishwarya S Nair was left alone dreaming inside the elite train. Through her body, she sensed the speed, which was new. Coming from Vattiyurkaavu in the city, Aishwarya is blind by birth. Albeit the hindrance, she enjoyed the trip and was a special invitee from the Railways.

Aishwarya is a first-year MA student from Swathi Thirunaal music college. It was through the organization 'Sakshma' that Aishwarya got the opportunity to travel to Vande Bharat. She traveled to Kozhikode along with her mother and teacher.

Normally train sojourns are arduous for people like Aishwarya. However, Vande Bharat was all friendly and proved to be a jovial one with a difference. All instructions including signs for the toilet have specially made brain lipi versions in the train.

C1, and C14 coaches are specially reserved for disabled people. The restroom and toilet facilities are built in a way to favor disabled people.
