THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala released the contract documents of the corruption in the AI Camera contract. He released the purchase order issued by SRIT Light Master. The total cost of the project is Rs 75.32 crore.

Chennithala alleged that the Safe Kerala scheme is daylight robbery and is being done with the blessings of the government. Industries Minister P Rajeev tried to whitewash the loot, added Chennithala.

He alleged that the order issued on April 12 was strange. Chennithala said how the cabinet gave permission despite knowing that it was illegal.

The announcement of probe cannot be thrown in the dustbin. Chennithala alleged that the government's attempt is to find a scapegoat and wipeout. He added that the project is to squeeze the poor.

‘The total cost of the AI project is only Rs 83.6 crore. In whose hand the poor man's Rs 232 crore goes. We must examine who is behind SRIT. What is the role of Jithesh, director of Troyes Company? Jithesh has more influence than Sivasankar.

Alhind withdrew due to lack of transparency in the contract. However, Keltron received three crore rupees from Alhind. Who owns the company Prasadio? Who is Ramjith?'asked Chennithala.

Meantime, opposition leader VD Satheesan alleged that the AI camera project is second SNC Lavalin. He said there is a need for a judicial inquiry and that the AI camera controversy will be raised and the secretariat will be surrounded on May 20.
