Acid hurled on nurse's face, husband arrested; incident in Kollam

KOLLAM: In yet another terrifying act, a woman was hurled acid on the face in Punalur. Neethu(32), who suffered the attack is a nurse at Punalur Taluk Hospital. According to police findings, the attacker is none other than her husband Bibin Raju.

The incident happened late evening near Punalur Taluk Hospital. Bibin tried to run away from the scene but the police patrolling nearby caught the act and thwarted his plans. Neethu is currently under treatment at Kottayam medical college.
