NIA raids multiple locations in Kashmir after terrorist attack in Poonch

SRINAGAR: The NIA is conducting raids at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir. Authorities said a raid is carried out in south and central Kashmir. Reports said a search is underway in Rajouri and Poonch.

Five soldiers died in a terrorist attack in Poonch last week. The terrorist attack took place on a truck carrying oil and other goods from Bhimbar Gali to the army camp at Sankiet in Poonch.

The terrorists first fired at the vehicle. The vehicle caught fire after throwing a grenade. The Jammu and Kashmir Police informed that the attack was carried out with the support of some locals. DGP Dilbagh Singh said that so far more than two hundred people have been questioned.
