Many asked if Chief Minister would not get angry upon hearing this; if a person keeps quiet he will be made minister, I don't want such positions, says KB Ganesh Kumar

PATHANAPURAM: KB Ganesh Kumar MLA said that political parties should be able to understand that the public is not stupid. He also said that these are times when one cannot succeed in politics by fooling people.

"I am the only politician in the state who opposed the move to impose fines on motorists who travel with a child. Many people asked me if the Chief Minister would not get angry upon hearing this. Why should someone get angry upon hearing the truth? The Chief Minister himself said that he will intervene in the matter. What I told was the voice of the people. That is what the CM heard. He said that he will resolve the issue," Ganesh Kumar said.

"Politicians should be the ones responding against injustice. That is how you speak for the people. That is not tarnishing the image of the government. It is the public who sent me to the Legislative Assembly. Their issues must be raised in the Assembly. That is why I spoke there. If a person keeps quiet, he will be made minister. I am not interested in any such positions. I don't want any positions by keeping quiet," Ganesh Kumar added.
