Mohanlal and Rajinikanth in mass look; promo video of 'Jailer' is out, release date announced

The release date of Superstar Rajinikanth's latest film 'Jailer' is out. The film will hit theatres on August 10. The crew has released a new video announcing the release date. Mohanlal can also be seen in the video.

This is the first time Rajinikanth and Mohanlal are coming together for a film. 'Jailer' is directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. Rajinikanth plays the role of Muthuvel Pandian, a jailer. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar also plays a pivotal role. Tamannaah Bhatia is the heroine.

Other actors in the film are Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu. Nelson Dilip Kumar has written the film. Cinematography- Vijay Karthik Kannan. Music director-Anirudh Ravichander.
