THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala said the growth of the controversial company Prasadio is surprising. A fraud of 164 crores has been exposed. He demanded cancellation of the contract and also sought a judicial inquiry.

Chennithala also alleged that Prasadio's major shareholder Surendra Kumar is a fellow traveler of the CPM. He said no vigilance probe is going on in the AI camera corruption. Chennithala asked who wants an investigation by the industry secretary.

Chennithala criticized A K Balan for turning a blind eye. Has Balan not seen any of the documents released? Chennithala added that Light Master MD had revealed that the project could have been implemented for Rs 680 crore. Balan had said that the chief minister did not reply as the investigation in the controversy is progressing. He said there had been controversies earlier but even then, the chief minister had not responded.

Prasadio started functioning in 2018. The revenue was then Rs 150,000. The next year it rose to Rs 7 crore and 24 lakhs and third year jumped to Rs 9 crore and 82 lakhs. Al these were mentioned in the documents submitted to company affairs ministry.
