Truck rams into seven other vehicles waiting at signal in Puthukkad

THRISSUR: A Taurus truck rammed into about seven vehicles awaiting a traffic signal. Four cars, two scooters, and a tempo were involved in the accident. The truck was going from Perumbavoor to Pollachi.

According to available information, the collision was caused after the Taurus driver fell asleep.

Three weeks ago, three members of a family were killed when a car hit a KSRTC bus in Thalikulam in the district.

The accident took place at Thalikulam's Koprakalam. The car which was going towards Guruvayur hit the oncoming KSRTC bus. Puthanpurayil Padmanabhan (81), his wife Parukutty (79) and grandchild Abhirami (11), natives of Paravur Thattanpadi, died in the collision.
