Seduce and loot; notorious criminal Sindhu arrested from Tamil Nadu

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two including a woman were arrested for stealing gold and money from a man near Medical college area in the capital. Sindhu(34) near Barton hill colony and Muhhamed Haja(29) near Vallakadavu were arrested.

The incident happened on April 21. Sindhu seduced the Vettukadu native and took him along in an autorickshaw to medical college area. From a medical shop, she purchased sleeping pills without her victim's notice. They both checked inside a lodge while Sindhu furtively added the pills to a Pepsi bottle. After consumption, the man went dizzying while Haja joined the fraud.

The two eloped with the gold to Goa and Tamil Nadu. A team led by inspector P Harilal caught the two from Nagercoil. The gold was sold in a firm near Nagercoil. Police say the two are habitual offenders and involve in the same modus operandi of seducing and looting.

Fearing the shame and setbacks from society, most people won't show the nerves to complain which made the two continue the fraud with impunity.
