Brij Bhushan should be arrested by 21st; wrestlers give deadline and hold candlelight protest

NEW DELHI: Candlelit protest led by wrestlers in Delhi against National Wrestling Federation President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh, who is facing sexual allegations. Along with the wrestlers, farmers, workers, and students also participated in the protest held at 7pm.

Khap Mahapanchayat was also organized at Jantar Mantar in support of wrestlers. Wrestlers and various organizations are giving a two-week ultimatum to the Delhi Police and the central government. A 32-member committee formed by wrestlers has warned that if Brij Bhushan is not arrested by the 21st of this month, severe measures will be taken including paralyzing the capital. The players had formed two special committees to decide the further course of action. One committee has 32 members and the other has 9 members. Wrestler Bajrang Punia stated that further action will be taken according to their decision. It was after this that the 32-member committee warned that Brij Bhushan should be arrested by the 21st.
