Indian songs rendered by foreigners are appealing with many reserving a special liking to such attempts. The trend is on the loose with many videos of such attempts entertaining internet spaces. Somebody from a foreign land trying out Indian songs bring much revere and gratification to many minds. These attempts are lauded. However, the trend is continuing but with a rare gem of addition from two Uzbekistan singers.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa was released in 2007. The movie took director Priyadarshan to a towering name in the Indian film world. The song 'Mere Dholna' turned epic with the flawless rendition of Shreya Ghoshal and M G Sreekumar. Now, after 16 years, two Uzbekistan singers, Dostonbek and Khakhramon are winning the internet with their rendition of the song. The lyrics are pitch-perfect and the Hindi dialect flows plain and smooth.
Classical songs are generally considered a burden for even singers within India. Such notions were defeated as the Uzbekistani singers immersed the whole crowd with a rendition to remember for ages. The crowd went gala with a clamor of applause rocking the stage while the two singers looked awe over the response.
