Woman, baby found dead in well in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: A woman and her one-and-a half-year-old baby were found dead in a well. The incident happened at Chemanchery in Kozhikode. Dhanya (35), wife of Prajith near Chemanchery Thuvacode post office and her daughter Theertha are the two dead.

The bodies of the two were found in the well near their house Wednesday morning at 7 am. The bodies were fished out by the fire force after the locals informed them. Dhanya’s husband Prajith is working in the health center in UAE.

The two were staying with Prajith’s mother in Chemanchery. The couple’s eldest daughter is in Dhanya’s house. The bodies have been shifted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
