Minister Veena George pays tributes to Dr Vandana Das; leaves under strict police security

KOTTAYAM: After paying tributes to Dr Vandana Das, Health Minister Veena George left under tight police security. The minister, who reached her house at Muttuchira in Kottayam, consoled Vandana's parents. The minister arrived without informing and refused to respond to the media. The minister while reacting to the murder said this happened because she was not experienced to handle such attacks and this had drawn criticism from several quarters.

The shocking incident happened yesterday early morning. The accused Sandeep, a teacher of Nedumbana UP School, stabbed Dr Vandana Das to death when he was brought for a medical examination at Kottarakkara taluk hospital. After graduating from Azeezia Medical College, she was doing her house surgency here.
