Health Minister's response equally shocking as Vandana's murder: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has expressed shock at the murder of doctor Vandana Das in Kollam. Mr. Gandhi raised concern about the recurring incidents of attacks on doctors and asked the government to prioritize security for the lifesavers in society.

Rahul Gandhi also condemned the ludicrous slip of tongue from the Kerala health minister and asked the politicians to be more careful while addressing such an emotional incident. Opposition leader V D Satheeshan also joined Rahul Gandhi in criticizing the health minister saying her words were nothing but salt to injury. Vandana Das was stabbed to death yesterday by a convict inside taluk hospital In Kottarakara. Vandana's cremation was completed today near her house premise in Kottyaam amidst a wailing crowd.
