Suresh Gopi visits Dr.Vandana's home; will meet CM soon for discussion

KOTTAYAM: BJP leader and actor Suresh Gopi visited the house of Vandana Das today. Das was stabbed to death by a convict after serious neglect from police officers. “ The family told me many things. I will take their request to CM Pinarayi Vijayan.’ Mr. Gopi called for a cleansing act in society and said many things are in need of change for people to live a secure life.

“ More than the horrific murder of Vandana, the pain which the family went through is inexplicable.” Suresh Gopi said.

Suresh Gopi just days back criticized the police force for Vandana’s death. He said the police had no clear plan while taking a convict to the hospital. “ The police distanced 100m from the convict while he was brandishing a knife. They left alone the girl to fight for herself. If they thought Vandana as their sister’s daughter or blood relation, would they have done the same?” Suresh Gopi lamented.
