Kerala Police nabs interstate thief nabbed from Tamil Nadu

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police have arrested an inter-state thief from Tamil Nadu. Suresh, a native of Trichy, was arrested by Thampanoor police.

The arrest was made for allegedly breaking the window of a car parked near RMS in Thampanoor and stealing laptops worth Rs 92,000. After the theft, the man went to Tamil Nadu. Based on the complaint of the car owner, the police identified the suspect through CCTV. The search for the suspect at various places revealed that he had entered Tamil Nadu. Then, with the help of the Tamil Nadu police, Thampanoor police reached there and arrested him from his hideout. The accused has a similar case in Karamana. In the detailed investigation conducted by the police, it was found that he has served jail time in theft cases in Bengaluru, Maharashtra, Delhi and Adayar and has committed theft in various states recently. The accused was produced in the court and remanded. The accused will be taken into custody for further questioning
