App for exchanging nude pics of wives, native of Thrissur arrested, possible to use app for other purposes, say police

THRISSUR: The Erumapetty police arrested a man for sharing his wife’s nude pictures on a sex chat app. Seby (33) of Mandamparambu Kalathu Veetil was arrested by sub inspector T C Anuraj. There is also a complaint that he had harassed his wife demanding dowry.

Seby married the woman from Palakkad two and a half years ago. He had accepted gold of ten sovereigns as dowry from the family who were not financially sound. Later he and his family harassed her physically and mentally for more dowry. She was also forced to drink liquor. She did not disclose all this to her family as she did not want to worry them. In the meanwhile, he captured her naked photos and shared it on the sleazy app.

The police examined his phone and found that he had shared the pics in the app for exchanging nude pictures of wives. The police said there is a possibility to use this app to introduce partners and exchange them. A team led by Kunnamkulam assistant commissioner T S Shinoj have started an investigation.
