Mumbai for a reason

Jyothika will soon join the sets of Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s supernatural thriller movie. It is raining movies now for the forgotten actress of Kollywood. With this contract, Jyothika is returning back to Bollywood after a gap of 25 years. She recently opted to settle down in Mumbai with her family leaving the abode of Chennai.

After this commitment, Jyothika will be part of Rajkumar Rao’s movie directed by Vikas Bahl. Meanwhile, her portions for the movie 'Kaathal' with Malayalam megastar Mammootty are done. The movie is through its final stages of post-production and will reach the audience soon in theatres.

Jyothika'a recent releases did mediocre business at the box office. However, her decision to shift base to Mumbai was definitely aimed at heralding a comeback to Bollywood. The new film will be the first collaboration between Jyotjika and Ajay Devgn. She has also taken to Twitter to share the news of the movie. She has worked with Madhavan earlier in films like Priyamaana Thozhi and Dumm Dumm Dumm.
