Renowned Christian songwriter and musician Pastor Bhakthavalsalan passed away

BENGALURU: Renowned Christian song writer and musician Pastor Bhakthavalsalan passed away. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Bengaluru due to kidney related diseases. He has been a dominant presence in the Christian music world for over 52 years and contributed many Christian songs.

Pastor Bhakthavalsalan, who worked for a long time as the director of Heartbeats, the national music group of the India Campus Crusade for Christ, wrote and composed more than 250 songs the most popular ones including, "Paduvan Enikkillini Shabdam", "Attidaya", "Manassalivin Maha Daivame", "Parisudhan Mahonnatha Devan", "Aradhyane", "Mayayameelokam" etc.
