No stopping cruelty to dogs in Malappuram; lassoed dog to bike, traveled kilometers

MALAPPURAM: Yet another case of brutality towards dogs has popped up from Malappuram. A man tied a dog into his motorbike and dragged it along many kilometers at 11:30 pm night. The incident happened near Chungathara in Malappuram. Two youngsters who were traveling on the route saw the incident and shot the video on their phones. The man can be seen reasoning on why he did such an atrocious thing. “ I can’t touch it, so I tied it along the vehicle”. According to tenets of Islam, touching dogs are viewed as haram.

That man later took the dog to the vehicle and seated it on the bike to continue the journey. Police took statements from the person who did the cruelty, however, a case is yet to be registered.
