People in Thrissur say Suresh Gopi will win this time, district will benefit if that happens: Actor Baiju

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In an interview with a media, actor Baiju said that Suresh Gopi will win in Thrissur in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He also opined that the district will benefit if he wins.

"Suresh Gopi is also contesting in Thrissur. People there say that Suresh Gopi will win this time. I think BJP will come at the Centre anyway. Therefore, if Suresh Gopi wins, there may be some benefit to Thrissur,'' Baiju said.

"I had told him that if he doesn't win this time, he should never contest. On hearing this, he said that he will not compete again. Now it is up to the people of Thrissur to decide", Baiju commented. At the same time, Baiju added that he does not know whether Mukesh will get a seat.
