NEW DELHI: As the dispute over the post of Chief Minister continues in Karnataka, the Congress high command has banned any public response on the matter. Randeep Surjewala, AICC general secretary in charge of Karnataka, said that those violating the ban would face disciplinary action. He also accused the media of being trapped in BJP's fake news.
Surjewala had earlier said that the cabinet will be formed in Karnataka within the next 72 hours. Meanwhile, DK Shivakumar denied reports that Siddaramaiah would be given chief minister position in the first term. Shivakumar responded to the media saying that there is no basis in the news that is being circulated and Mallikarjun Kharge will tell who is the Chief Minister. The high command has found themselves in a tight spot after Shivakumar took the position that he won't share the post of Chief Minister. In case no decision is reached, the leaders will remain in Delhi.
