Malayali student dies in road accident in Bengaluru

BALARAMAPURAM: A Malayali student from Balaramapuram died in a car accident in Bengaluru. The deceased has been identified as Pravitha (22) of Thiruvathira in Varuvila in Balaramapuram, a final year student of fashion designing at Bangalore RR College. The incident happened at 6 pm on Thursday. While going on a scooter, she was hit by another vehicle. The vehicle did not stop after ramming her scooter. Pravitha was admitted to Bengaluru Victoria Hospital with severe head injuries but died at 8 am yesterday. She is the daughter of Shibu, an officer at the Thiruvallam Police Station, and Mini, an employee of the Civil Supplies Department. Brother: Praveen.
