Murder of Siddique: Shibili and Farhana were nabbed while trying to flee to Jamshedpur

KOZHIKODE: Shibili and Farhana, accused in the murder case of Siddique (58) of Tirur, who had a hotel in Olavanna, were arrested while trying to flee to Jamshedpur from Chennai. The RPF team took them into custody from Chennai Egmore railway station last night.

Their plan was to board a train from Egmore to Jamshedpur Tata Nagar railway station. The two were found in the waiting room of Egmore during a search by the RPF.

The Tirur police found that Shibili and Farhana had a role in the missing case of Siddique. It was found that the two had reached Chennai during an investigation conducted based on CCTV visuals and information of the mobile location. The Tirur police later informed the RPF in Egmore about the incident. A search by the RPF led to the arrest of the two. The RPF team handed over the two to the Tirur police at around 10 am Friday morning.
