Teacher collapses and dies at her retirement party

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A teacher collapsed and died while attending a retirement party organized by her colleagues. The deceased is Mini (56), a teacher at Pirappancode Government School, Venjaramood. She is a native of Karettu's Pedikulam.

The banquet was organized at a hotel in Venjaramoodu. Mini, who came to participate in this, collapsed at the venue. Mini's colleagues immediately rushed her to a nearby private hospital, but her life could not be saved. Mini was supposed to retire on May 31.
