Chinese-made weapons in possession of attackers arrested in Manipur; three people under custody

IMPHAL: Chinese-made weapons were found among the weapons recovered from the three arrested attackers in conflict-torn Manipur. Army caught the attackers when Union Home Minister Amit Shah was on his way to Manipur today for a three-day visit.
The assailants were caught after the security forces received information that four people were traveling in a car in a suspicious manner in the City Convention Center area in Imphal. The attackers ran away when the soldiers stopped the car and searched it and the soldiers caught them after a chase. A number of weapons, including a Chinese hand grenade, a detonator and an Insas rifle, were recovered from them.
