Kollam Ayyur native killed by unknowns in America; robbery attempt says police

NEWYORK: A Kerala native has been gunned down in yet another incident of shooting in America. Ayyur native Jude Chacko(21) was targeted in one brutal shooting that happened in Philadelphia. On Sunday. Jude was returning back from work when two strangers ambushed him with guns. Jude was rushed to hospital but couldn't be saved. The police said it was a robbery attempt that ended up killing the Kerala native. The body will be buried in Philadelphia itself. Jude's family had been Americans long back as they settled in the foreign land almost 30 years back.

Meanwhile, the appalling state of gun shootouts in America sees no end. On May 6, one attacker fired inside a school killing nine. The attacker was neutralized by the forces but such gore incidents get repeated frequently with no respite to nationals, especially school-going young ones.
