Man succumbs to injuries sustained in Arikomban’s attack

IDUKKI: A man, who was injured in an attack by the rogue tusker Arikomban died Tuesday early morning. He has been identified as Palraj (57) of Kambam. The tusker had unleashed violence in Kambam town by running around and attacking vehicles. In the meanwhile, Palraj who was sitting on a bike sustained injuries. He sustained injuries on his head and stomach and was admitted in the ICU of Theni Medical College Hospital. He died while undergoing treatment.

The doctors who treated Palraj said that his bones were broken and he was bleeding internally. The body will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
